Meditation & Mindfulness Practice Partnering
So, you’ve just had a transformative experience through a class, retreat, or a particular reading and maybe now are wondering how you might keep these ideas and insights alive and fresh in your everyday life…
Meditation and mindfulness practice partnering is a collaborative exchange of experiences and tools toward the benefit of our personal and shared embodiment of these insights. We connect through authentic and intentional awareness and relating —to Self, source*, one another, and reduced suffering.
In my nearly two decades of meditation and mindfulness practice and training, I have gathered an abundance of tools and techniques from a variety of lineages, spiritual and science-based alike, that I draw from to offer in support of your practice.
For much of the past decade my practice has been informed and inspired by Caverly Morgan and the beloved community of kindreds she leads and we practice alongside. In this community, I have gained meaningful insights and first-hand experiences related to my/our inherent wholeness and belonging. Gratefully, I’ve also honed tools for reducing the noise and static that interferes with my connection to this precious truth and our shared being. Here I hope to offer these in service of our personal reduction of suffering and toward our collective liberation.
Our practice partnering will be tailored to your needs and intentions, based on an emergent orientation of “being with what is".
A typical session may look like:
-
Starting with a brief meditation practice and reflection,
-
You sharing more about where you are feeling "stuck" in your practice or seeking additional tips and tools,
-
My offering practice suggestions and tools to work with and report back on,
-
A final brief practice and plan ahead on how I can support you next.
I offer this all with a warm and direct approach, recognizing the significance of your attention and time hoping to serve both most effectively and generously.
I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation call to further discuss and determine if practicing together would be beneficial.
It is important to name that while I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon, this is not counseling nor therapy support. In my work as a therapist much of my personal practice is held back secondary to keeping focus and attention on the needs of the clients I support in that context. My work as a meditation and mindfulness practice partner allows me to share more of my personal experiences with the aim of working in collaboration with my practice partner toward my/your/our decreased suffering and increased liberation. Accordingly, practice partnering is offered separately and distinctly from my work and role as a therapist.
Here, through this partnering, we are invited to co-create and ultimately co-marvel at the wild and profound human experience through creativity and contemplation, and in service of Love.
I offer these services hourly via zoom on a sliding scale:

Supported - $50: For those with currently limited financial resources who will avoid further hardship while benefiting from access supplemented by the community.

Fair - $75: For those with sufficient financial resources who can pay fair value.

Rebalancing - $100: For those with ample financial resources (personal or institutionally supported) and a desire to support access for others to help rebalance systemic inequality.
*I hold no singular version or vision of this concept in my practice and instead operate from a secular base from which we can build based on what is meaningful and supportive to you/us.
